Vtg Japanese Tea Caddy Tea Container

This is a vintage Japanese iron tea caddy. It has an outer lid and an inner lid. A tea caddy is a tool for storing tea leaves. Tea leaves deteriorate when exposed to air and lose their aroma and taste, so a tightly sealed container is best. It’s green and has black and white flowers drawn on it.
