This is a vintage Japanese ceramic water jug in the hitoeguchi style. It is brown and has some drip accents. It has a tall and straight shape. It can be used to store water (mizusashi) during the tea ceremony. This deep bowl has a matte finish. It is sturdy and easy to handle thanks to its horizontal ridges. Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
