Vtg Japanese Buddhist Equipment Shoko Incense
This is a Japanese Buddhist equipment Shoko (offers incense or burning incense). Shoko is scented wood chips. It is used by attendants of Buddhist funerals and memorial services in turn to burn it. The scent of incense sticks is said to feed the deceased, purify themselves, and smoke delivers prayers and thoughts to the ancestors and the dead.
