Vintage Japanese Bow Arrow Display Set
This is a set of bow, and arrows (Hamayumi) for display in one's home. Hamayumi is said to ward off evil spirits from the house and bring fortune. It is also a talisman for the healthy growth of children and is often displayed during the Boys' Day Festival (Children's Day) every May. It is a combination of gold, black, and brown wood colors as well as an orange silk braided cord and tassel on the front and a beautiful crane bird crafted from paper-covered wire swooping down from the top.
