Vtg Japanese Ceramic Teapot

Details: This is a vintage Japanese ceramic teapot or Japanese kyusu from Japan. This particular type of Kyusu is called Uwade no Kyusu, literally translates to 'top hand teapot'. This type is larger that than the other types of Kyusu making it preferable for serving many guests. Kyusu teapots are usually used for Sencha, a type of tea prepared by infusing the processed whole tea leaves in hot water. For the Japanese people, tea drinking is a daily activity. So, artisans have perfected their pottery techniques throughout the years making Japanese pottery one-of-a-kind. Grab this Kyusu teapot to give your guests a feel of Japan or simply to add to your collection of Japanese items.
