Vtg Japanese Buddhist Altar Fitting Scroll
This is a Japanese vintage fabric and paper hanging scroll representing Amida Butsu in its Hoben Hoshin form. It is an icon displayed in Japanese Buddhist home altars, Butsudan. It is a powerful religious image, aimed to be at the center of an altar. The scroll is gold and dark blue with red accents. It is embellished with metal parts on the top and bottom and has inscriptions on the back.
