Antique Japanese Shoiko Backpack

This is an antique Japanese shoiko backpack. It is made from hardwood and straw and is embellished with orange, black and red fabric. This item might please a collector or become a unique piece of interior decor.

• Approx. 33.3 cm wide, 80.2 cm height, 4,9 cm thick.
• Good condition considering its age. Scratches, dents and discoloration. Straw rope is worn and ripped. The fabric is torn and the colors are faded. One strap bottom part is damaged/missing. Some Kanji (Japanese ideograms) and other patterns are ink printed on the wood. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
