Vtg Japanese Kimekomi Ningyo Fabric Doll Zodiac Rooster w/Stand

This vintage Japanese Kimekomi decorative fabric doll represents a rooster, one of the Chinese zodiac animals, and is a decoration for the New Year. It has a wooden base with silk fabric applied according to the kimekomi technique. The rooster is a combination of white, gold, orange, and black fabric in varying patterns. It comes with a wooden platform stand and a packet of small fabric scraps from crafting.
