Vtg Japanese Kimekomi Ningyo Fabric Doll Zodiac Ox

This vintage Japanese Kimekomi fabric doll represents an ox, one of the Chinese zodiac animals, and is a decoration for the New Year. It has a wooden base with silk fabric applied according to the kimekomi technique. The ox has a red floral saddle on its back and carries golden rice barrels. A wooden stand and sign are included. It also comes with extra fabric and the original paper box.
