Vintage Japanese Bamboo Basket

This is a vintage Japanese bamboo basket. Sometimes called morikago, a multipurpose basket typically found on tables and countertops, this piece is commonly used to hold seasonal fruits as the spaces between the woven bands of bamboo allow air to pass through.
Woven with fine strips of bamboo in three different shades of brown for variety and visual appeal, this beautiful little shallow basket is the perfect addition to any home or office decor.
