Japanese Wooden Tansu Storage Chest

This is a Japanese storage chest, also called tansu. A rich dark brown color, this wooden chest has 4 small drawers with decorative metal hardware. It has additional metal decorations including rivets on each drawer front and riveted brackets on the top side. The inside of the drawers is lined with a red fuzzy material. This beautiful, well-loved tansu chest can be used for storing sewing/crafting supplies, jewelry, or other trinkets.
