Vintage Japanese Wooden Tansu Storage Chest

This is a vintage Japanese storage chest, also called tansu. Brown, this sizable, cube-shaped chest has four drawers of the same size, each with decorative black metal handle hardware. The insides of the drawers are lined with red fabric. This tansu chest can be used for storing sewing supplies (as a haribako), jewelry, hobby supplies, or other trinkets.
