Vintage Japanese Wooden Storage Box

Wooden boxes are a standard method of safely keeping and storing delicate pottery, vases, and other ceramic, clay, and glass items in Japan. In addition to pottery, they are widely used for many traditional Japanese crafts, including kimono accessories, wrapping cloths, chopsticks, commemorative gifts, etc, and even food.

This box is made of sturdy wood and has a natural wood color. It has an inscription on the slide panel door. The lid is made of two boards and has a slight gap between them.  It is excellent for general storage, DIY, or decoration.
