Vintage Japanese Wooden Oke Bucket

This is a traditional, handmade Japanese wooden bucket made for storing water, rice, or other food products. It is also commonly used for making pickles. Stout, sturdy, and with a natural brown color, it is made from precisely cut slats of wood held together by four narrow, twisted metal wires via tension. This beautiful classic piece is also perfect for adding traditional flair to any home or office decor.
