Vtg Japanese Lacquered Takamakura Pillow

This is a vintage Japanese wooden lacquered Takamakura, Geisha pillow. This pillow is made of a beautiful Tsugaru-Nuri lacquer-coated wooden box with a red cushion on the top. There are string holes on the side, but there is no string.
