Vtg Japanese Wooden Saucer Coaster Chataku

This is a vintage Japanese wooden lacquered drink saucer or coaster. It is called Chataku in Japan. There is a recess in the center to prevent the teacup from slipping out when you serve tea to a guest. This coaster is in the shape of a flower. This coaster is coated brown.
