Vtg Japanese Wooden Case Figurine

This is a vintage Japanese wooden accessory case or figurine. The roof (lid) can be removed. It is written in Kanji as Hida Takayama in Gifu prefecture. It is modeled after a traditional high-roofed house in Hida Takayama.
