Japanese Wooden Wall Hanging Tanzaku-kake Frame

This is a vintage Japanese wooden wall hanging frame, tanzaku-kake. A tanzaku is a long and narrow shikishi used for painting and writing Japanese poems such as haiku or tanka. It has a cut-out Mt. Fuji design at the bottom. The narrow shikishi fits between two brackets.
