Vintage Japanese Wooden Tansu Storage Chest

This is a vintage Japanese storage chest, also called tansu. This tansu has four similar-sized drawers with simple metal knobs. It has a layer of decorative floral paper covered with a clear lacquer varnish. This tansu chest can be used for storing sewing supplies (as a haribako), jewelry, hobby supplies, or other trinkets.
