Vintage Japanese Wooden Storage Chest

This is a large Japanese storage chest made of wood. It contains two long drawers, one of which has a built-in iron lock (key not included). It uses simple metal hardware on the upper corners and a handle at the very top for easy transport. At one time, this chest had a lockable, removable door panel at the front, but it is missing. This item may have been a lock box or safe.
