This is a Japanese vintage wooden snack bowl, or Kashiki, typically used for serving snacks, such as senbei crackers or sweets, to guests in one’s home, business, etc. A glossy dark brown with lovely natural wood grain on display, this sturdy round bowl provides both function and beautiful decor.
