Wooden boxes are a standard method of safely keeping and storing delicate pottery, vases, and other ceramic, clay, and glass items in Japan. This lidded box is made of natural brown wood. It has strings to secure the lid and inscriptions on the outside and inside. It is excellent for general storage, DIY, or decoration.
