Vtg Japanese Traditional Kokeshi Doll 

This is a vintage Japanese wooden kokeshi doll figurine. Kokeshi are simple wooden Japanese dolls with no arms or legs that have been crafted for more than 150 years as a toy for children. This modern-style kokeshi doll is very simple with a brushed lacquer body with black and red handpainted details. It has a sweet face with open eyes and a curvy headpiece resembling a hair bun.
