Vintage Japanese Wooden Flower Vase Stand

Used for the display of flower vases, ikebana arrangements, bonsai, and more, this sizeable rectangular-shaped wooden kadai has a veneer made up of thinly sliced cross-sections of cut wood or pressed leaves and brushed with a clear lacquer coating. It stands on two curved legs for added visual interest and stability. Its wide top surface is ideal for larger displays.

• Okay condition considering its age. Lacquer chips/peeling on top surface and small cracks between where the slices of the veneer meet. Scratches. Finish worn slightly in some places. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
