Vtg Japanese Carved Wooden Ebisu Omen Face

This is a vintage Japanese carved wooden mask (omen) of Ebisu, one of the Seven Lucky Gods. It is brushed with a medium brown with a clear lacquer finish. There is a purple braided corn tied to the back for easy hanging.
Ebisu is the god of wealth, fishing, and trade. It is a beloved and common symbol of luck and good fortune in Japan.
