Wooden boxes are a common method of safely keeping and storing delicate pottery, vases, and other ceramic, clay, and glass items in Japan. This long, narrow, deep drawer taken from a vintage desk is a rich dark brown color with a clear finish. This piece can also be used for general storage of trinkets or use for display or other crafts/projects.
