Vtg Japanese Armrest Kyousoku

This is a vintage wooden kyousoku armrest with a cushion top with a green-and-orange abstract pattern. It is made of wood and silk fabric. The legs are flat so that the tatami mats are not damaged. It is slightly curved to fit the body. It is traditionally used by people to rest their arms while sitting on the floor, at home, or when playing shogi or go. The item will be shipped disassembled.

• Good condition considering its age. Brown stain on cushion. Silk is fuzzy on the sides. Some scratches and dents on the wood. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
