Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl, Matcha Chawan. It has a dark brown, glossy glaze. This bowl has a lot of irregularities which give it a rustic look. It is deep but not very large and it is signed on the bottom. This type of bowls is traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies.
