Antique Japanese Soldier Portrait Photograph

This is an antique Taisho Era soldier portrait photograph in a soft sepia tone. This  young soldier has medals, so it is assumed they returned from battle. Often times portraits of soldiers were taken in full-dress before deployment as a keepsake for the family should they not return home. It comes adhered to the original thick, decorative paper card.
