Antique Japanese Soldier Portrait Photograph

This is an antique Taisho Era young soldier portrait photograph in a soft sepia tone. This soldier appears young because during times of war, it was common for students to be taught about military strategy/maneuvers/formations, materials/weapons, first aid, etc and frequently went straight into military service once graduated. Often times portraits of soldiers were taken in full-dress before deployment as a keepsake for the family should they not return home. It comes adhered to a thick paper card inside of a paper folding cover.
