Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan for summer. This Shino ware style bowl has a thick white/light gray glossy glaze with brown spots. There is a sign near the foot.

Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
