Vtg Japanese Straw Kokeshi Doll 

This is a vintage Japanese straw kokeshi doll figurine. Kokeshi are simple wooden Japanese dolls with no arms or legs that have been crafted for more than 150 years as a toy for children. They now come in many forms and shapes. This modern-style kokeshi doll is unique in that it’s made primarily of straw rather than wood. The fibers of straw are woven together in their natural color while the straw depicting the hair is dyed a greenish color with a little bow-shaped bun on top. It has a cheerful face and has flower accents made of fabrics.
