Vtg Japanese Steel Woodworking Knife W/ Sheath

This vintage Japanese woodworking craft knife has a steel blade, a wooden handle and a matching sheath. This hand-forged knife is single-edged and features some inscriptions on the blade.

• Approx. 20.5 cm long x 3 cm wide, 1.7 cm handle thick
• Blade approx. 8.3 cm long x 2.5 cm wide
• Good condition considering its age. Tip of the blade is broken. Tape on the wood sheath and at the base of the blade. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
• Acquired from a friend’s home in Gifu, Japan
