Vtg Japanese Ceramic Flower Vase With Wooden Box

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic flower vase, also called kabin or hanaire in Japanese. This bowl is in the Shino ware style, a type of Mino ware. It has a white underglaze and a gray and brown dripping top glaze. The base and the top glaze make a textured surface. It is sturdy and easy to handle thanks to its design: a cylinder slightly bent inwards on the sides. It is wrapped and cased in a wooden box. This vase can be used for Ikebana or other floral arrangements. It is a beautiful item that can be displayed as decor.
