Japanese Shell Kokeshi Doll

This vintage Japanese shell kokeshi figurine represents a family: parents with a baby, from Aoshima, Miyazaki. The figurine’s face and the kimono pattern are painted. The figurines sit on a wooden stand with a wave-like design.  The stand has an inscription.

• Approx. 7 cm long x 3.8 cm wide x 6 cm tall
• Good condition considering age. Some damage to the top of the one figurine. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
