Japanese Buddhist Fabric Bag for Prayer Beads Juzu

This is a Japanese vintage handmade fabric prayer beads Juzu bag, Jyuzu-Bukuro. It is used to carry rosary beads used in memorial services such as funerals.  It is made of silk fabric that features chrysanthemums and leaves in purple and gold. There is only one pocket and as this is a very simple style pouch, there is no clasp, button, or toggle to keep it closed.
