Japanese Buddhist Fabric Bag for Prayer Beads Juzu

This Japanese vintage fabric prayer beads Juzu bag (Jyuzu-Bukuro) is used to carry rosary beads used in memorial services such as funerals, and/or Buddhist Sutra books. It is a gold color Nishiki Brocade bag woven with turtle shell patterns (kikkou). It has a purple lining and two pockets on the inside, one has a metallic fastener. This item comes in a paper box, and has a dedicated plastic cover.
