This is a vintage Japanese pottery green tea bowl, Matcha Chawan. It is brown and has a matte finish. You can enjoy the color variations due to the kiln process. This bowl is sturdy and easy to handle. Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
