Japanese Meito Porcelain Teacup

This vintage Japanese Meito porcelain Western-style teacup features a pink iris on the front and a purple one on the back. There are some gold details on the rim and the handle. This cup is signed on the bottom. 
This cup is called yunomi, a cup made for serving and drinking sencha (standard loose-leaf tea). These cups are typically brought to guest in one’s home, a business, or a restaurant on a lacquered obon tray.

• Good condition considering age. Some of the gold foil is missing, especially on the inside. Discoloration (gold foil). Imperfections: gold foil mark on the front of handle. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
