Vintage Japanese Soy Sauce Dish

This is a vintage Japanese soy sauce dish, Seiji. It is a small, rounded rectangular shallow bowl or plate meant to hold soy sauce as well as other seasonings for the purpose of dipping. With a wave-like pattern with bamboo leaves, this little bowl can also hold other food items such as pickles.
