Vintage Japanese Porcelain Serving Dish

This item is a vintage Japanese porcelain serving dish. The design on this wide-mouthed shallow bowl features a sometsuke white and blue design of a healthy stalk of bamboo with leaves. The outside edge of the bowl has a unique geometric design. Due to its flat bottom on the inside, this dish is an excellent choice for serving sashimi, sushi, etc.
