Vintage Japanese Porcelain Small Plate, Mamezara

This is a vintage Japanese tiny porcelain plate. Mostly white, this plate has a blue sometsuke design of a branch with leaves and brown chestnuts.
Mamezara are tiny plates in a Japanese tableware set that typically hold dipping sauces such as soy sauce, garnishes, and other condiments. It is also the perfect size for holding small jewelry.
