Japanese Vintage Porcelain Sake Cup

This is a vintage Japanese porcelain sake cup. This particular type of cup is called wan or “bowl type” due to its resemblance to a rice or tea bowl. In terms of size, it is also called ochoko. This hexagonal-footed cup is white with a sometsuke blue jagged stripe pattern in bands around the outside.
