Japanese Vintage Porcelain Sake Cup

This is a vintage Japanese porcelain sake cup. It features two different designs on the inside and outside, and is called Kimen-hai or Setsubun-hai. The inside depicts Otafuku, a traditional Japanese lucky charm.  The unglazed outside features a sculpture of an Oni or a devil face. This design is from Setsubun,a traditional Japanese event held in February. Devil horns and a jaw make it stand without wobbling.

• Good condition considering its age. Some spots outside. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
