This vintage Japanese picture book features illustrations and calligraphy by ema (Japanese good fortune amulets) artist Susumu Tonomura. This book is a collection of  positive sayings about life and one’s mindset. The illustrations often feature a jizo statue, which is a Buddhist figure.
