Vintage Japanese Paper Uchiwa Fan

This is a Japanese vintage paper fan, or Uchiwa. An uchiwa is a traditional fan typically made of wood or bamboo and paper in a flat paddle-like shape. This particular fan features a vine of bright blue morning glories, with one in full bloom and two more buds. It has a light green accent and a carved wooden handle.
