Vtg Japanese Metal Saucer Coaster Chataku    

This is a pair of vintage Japanese metal chataku drink saucers/coasters. They are green with a punched hole design. The center has a traditional alternating stripe pattern (sangokuzushi) and is sunken to provide stability so cups do not slide off easily. The pair stacks neatly and is very thin, so they do not take up much space in storage. The back side is black.
