Japanese Hanging Scroll Weights Fuchin

This is a pair of Japanese hanging scroll (kakejiku) weights, or fuchin. Fuchin is a decoration that hangs on both ends of the bottom of a hanging scroll. It’s a decoration as well as weighing the scroll down to keep it straight and keep it steady in a breeze.
This item features natural pink marble stones in a sphere shape with a gorgeous vein pattern with varying shades of brown and beige. It has deep purple tassels with a gold accent underlayer at the head.
