Japanese Lacquerware Bento Box Jubako

This is a vintage Japanese beautiful two-tier lunch box with lacquer coating. A picture of pampas grass is drawn in gold. The box does not have a lid, so it can be used as a container for small items. Lacquer is made from the sap of the lacquer tree.
