Vtg Japanese Lacquerware Bento Box Jubako

This is a Japanese vintage lacquered wooden five-tier lunch box (Jubako). It is black on the outside and red on the inside. It comes with two lids, which enables using it as two bento boxes. The four sides of the box and the lids are decorated with gold color makie floral designs. This lunch box comes with a wooden lacquer-brushed storage box. The storage box has a traditional design where the box is opened from the front thanks to a panel that slides up. It has a metal handle to facilitate transport.

• Good condition. Marks, scratches, chips, dents and lacquer missing in some places (lunch box). Scratches, dents and chips, bottom front corner damaged (storage box). Rust on the handle (storage box). Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
